Expert Animal Welfare Consulting

I provide expert input and collaboration to NGOs, legal teams, zoos, sanctuaries, and research institutions working on complex questions involving the welfare of captive animals. My work is grounded in three core principles: independence of judgment, scientific rigor, and ethical responsibility to both animals and people. I am typically engaged in projects requiring interpretation, synthesis, and defensible decision-making.

I regularly work on projects under confidentiality agreements. Engagements range from expert analysis of animal welfare in legal contexts and policy development, to staff training and long-term program strategy.
